Job Openings

  • This position is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in the financial administration of the community and, in some cases, oversight of the leasing staff on a day-to-day basis.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Community Manager with oversight of the leasing team and training

    • Support Leasing Consultants in the leasing of apartments and ensure that Fair Housing guidelines are followed; verify potential resident applications; may be required to lease apartments as necessary

    • Post rental collections, make bank deposits and oversee the administration of accounting functions for the community

    • Meet regularly with Community Manager and Regional Manager to discuss community performance

    • Conduct a monthly market survey and recommend pricing changes

    • Maintain and update resident lease files and computer records for the community, including generation of reports

    • Process notices to vacate & manage delinquency/file evictions as necessary and all necessary associated collections activities

    • May field resident concerns and coordinate resolution with Community Manager or other member of the leadership team

    • Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Community Manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include MS Excel required

    • Onesite knowledge preferred

    Education and Background:

    • BA/BS in business, sales or related field, relevant experience or a combination

    • Strong collections experience and Accounting/Bookkeeping skills required

    • Onesite/Rent Roll experience preferred

    • 1+ years property management industry experience preferred

    • Previous supervisory experience preferred

    • Previous leasing experience preferred

  • Leasing Consultants have primary marketing responsibilities as they pertain to interfacing with prospective residents at the community, handling day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinating the renewals of existing leases.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Provide excellent service to all residents, prospects and visitors to the communities

    • Effectively lease apartments and sell properties products and services in accordance with budget guidelines

    • Follow Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents

    • Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends

    • Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition

    • Conduct outside marketing activities in order to position Solid-Properties communities as communities of choice Coordinate the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications

    • Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other proper documentation as indicated on checklist

    • Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection and walk through with resident

    • Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinate the renewal process for each lease

    • Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met

    • Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and ability to use computer
